Description

What is Marseille Soap?

Savon de Marseille is one of France's most iconic and enduring traditions — a pure, hard soap that has been made in the Provence region for over 600 years. True Marseille soap is crafted from a minimum of 72% vegetable oils, cooked in large cauldrons using a centuries-old process, and stamped with its oil content and weight to certify authenticity. Free from animal fats, synthetic additives, and artificial fragrances, it is as honest as soap gets.

Marseille Soap Cube — Olive Oil |  3.5oz

This small compact 100g cube is a genuine Savon de Marseille, made in Marseille, Provence, and certified by the Union of Marseille Soap Professionals. Formulated with 70% olive oil and 30% coconut (copra) oil, it is exceptionally gentle on skin while remaining effective enough for face, body, and hands. The olive oil base is naturally rich in vitamin E, delivering lasting hydration and softening without stripping the skin's moisture barrier.

Completely free from colorants, synthetic fragrances, and preservatives — just pure, plant-based cleansing the way it has always been done.

A Note on the Scent

Authentic Marseille soap has a clean, subtle, and naturally neutral scent — the quiet smell of pure olive and coconut oils with no added fragrance. It is understated and unobtrusive, rinsing away without leaving any lingering perfume. If you're sensitive to scented products or simply prefer your skincare unfragranced, this is the bar for you.
